Recruiting Tips

Have plenty of recruiting brochures and club bulletins on hand.

Invite friends and family to participate in your project. Let them see Exchangites in action and feel the satisfaction of helping others.

If you use Prospective Member Kits, place either a club bulletin or brochure inside one of the pockets to customize it.

Have several members assigned to recruiting. One person can maintain a display area with brochures and other information, and the other can have a two-minute presentation prepared.

Everyone in your club should be prepared to explain not only your project, but the National Day of Service, itself.

Are there non-members who regularly volunteer with your club? Take this opportunity to invite them to join.

Get excited about your project and Exchange! Enthusiasm is contagious.
