Giving to the NEC
Foundation
Charitable gifts are one of the most
important and fulfilling ways to help shape the world around you. Within the
National Exchange Club Foundation, charitable gifts go to one of two main
funds. The Annual Programs Fund allows
the Foundation to support a predictable level of recurring programming. This
fund is used to underwrite the annual programs of the National Exchange Club
and its national project, child abuse prevention. The
Endowment Fund helps ensure the future of the Foundation and
secures its ability to support the National Exchange Club program of
service into the future. This fund’s principle is permanently invested and
only interest earnings from the fund are used to support the programs of
Exchange.
The Annual Programs Fund and the
Endowment Fund are equally deserving of support; indeed, they complement one
another. The Annual Programs Fund supports the Foundation’s programs today
and the Endowment Fund is used to secure those programs for tomorrow.
DONATE NOW
Annual Giving
Annual giving contributions are
essential, because they provide flexible, immediate funds for annual program
and operating expenses. Because gifts to the Annual Giving Fund provide for
roughly 10 percent of the NEC Foundation’s annual income, their importance
cannot be overemphasized.
National Exchange Club members
receive an annual giving appeal in November. If you have made your annual
gift, thank you! If you would still like to make your gift, please

Berkey Fellowship
Named in honor of
Exchange’s founder, Charles A. Berkey, the Berkey Fellowship was established
to honor outstanding supporters of the ideals of the National Exchange Club.
Charles Berkey Fellowships are awarded
in appreciation for lump sum contributions of $1,000 or more to the NEC
Foundation Endowment Fund. Gifts made to the Berkey Fellowship become part
of the Endowment Fund, a permanent bank of funds for the NEC Foundation.
Your gift will be honored and protected in perpetuity, as the Endowment
Fund’s principal is permanently invested, and only interest earnings from
the fund are used to support the programs of Exchange.

Fellow, please call 1-800-XCHANGE.

The National

National Exchange Club Foundation in their estates.
Estate
planning is an important part of every person’s life plan regardless of age. You can brighten our children’s future by planning a gift in your
estate today. Questions about including the National Exchange Club
Foundation in your estate? Please call 1-800-XCHANGE.
Stocks
Gifts of appreciated securities or stock can be one of the
most advantageous ways of giving to the National Exchange Club Foundation.
If you have owned the stock for more than one year, you may deduct the full
fair market value and at the same time, bypass all capital gain taxes.
The National Exchange Club Foundation is able to accept gifts
of stock through an account with Raymond James & Associates, Inc. Please
call 1-800-XCHANGE for our account number, DTC number, and other details.
Memorials and Tributes
Celebrate,
congratulate and commemorate with a special gift to the National Exchange Club
Foundation. A donation is a thoughtful and meaningful way to honor
and remember. When you make a donation, we send an acknowledgement to
you and a note to the person, or the family of the person being honored or
memorialized.
