Exchange Club and Children’s Justice Center Team up for Child Abuse Prevention

The St. George Exchange Club teamed up with the Children’s Justice Center to create a lawn mural with pinwheels and silhouettes representing the children that went through the center in 2016. There were approx. 250 children that used the services of the CJC last year. April is Child Abuse Prevention month and the Exchange Club is a big supporter of prevention of child abuse.

A display representing victims of child abuse in Washington County was unveiled at 463 East 500 South, St. George. Members of the St. George Exchange Club erected the display. These silhouettes have become an annual visual demonstration to the community of the need for child abuse prevention. It is hoped that this display will serve as a reminder that the children of Washington County need the support and protection of all adults. Read more.
