Fireworks will light up the night sky on the Fourth of July over Lake Mitchell to commemorate our nation’s Independence Day.
The show will begin at dusk or approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to Mitchell Exchange Club’s Troy Eilts.
The Mitchell Exchange Club, with the help of other corporate sponsors, spent an estimated $14,500 on this year’s fireworks display which is put on by Lew’s Fireworks Inc., of Watertown. The fireworks will be launched from Windy Point on Lake Mitchell.
With the weather forecast projecting to be mostly clear skies and high near 66 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, the event is for all ages.
“It’s a great family event,” Eilts said. “I expect it to be as good or better than years past. Come prepared for a great show.” Source.
