Services National Provides Our Members

 A list of some of the services provided by your National Headquarters follows: 

  • Provides group exemption with Internal Revenue Service as a not-for-profit organization, avoiding the income implications on money raised by the clubs.
     

  • Provides clubs the ability to receive charitable contributions when money is received by the National Exchange Club Foundation and the club uses the funds for the programs of service.
     

  • Official supply merchandise and guidance on recognition awards, apparel and customized orders.
     

  • Assistance with hotel negotiations and planning for club/district meetings, seminars and conferences.
     

  • Guidance, procedures and "how to" on club projects including resource/support materials.
     

  • Assist with newsletters and brochures for established and prospective clubs.
     

  • Provide clubs (and new club projects) with prospect lists; develop and mail out invites to prospective attendees for club meetings, trainings, etc.
     

  • Provide leadership training to all levels and positions of leadership and produce and distribute club and district leadership kits.
     

  • Help prospective members locate clubs in their area.
     

  • Send out a variety of informational kits, including:  New Club Building, Permanent Organization Meeting, Operation Turnaround, etc.
    and awards and recognition program.
     

  • Field assistance for many things, such as:  recruiting, setting up growth plans, training, intervention, leadership development, etc.
     

  • Coordinate and staff the National Convention, along with other major national education conferences - National Leadership Conference and Mid-Winter Conference.
     

  • Provide history for clubs/members upon request. Maintain and make available all history information for clubs and districts.
     

  • Produce quarterly, national magazine and digital newsletters to communicate news of campaigns, events, educational information, and club/district accomplishments to members.
     

  • Maintain websites as communication tools to disseminate information to members and general public and maintain a national Facebook and Twitter presence.
     

  • Provide tools/resources to clubs (style guide, marketing/public relations, templates, scripts, customized club/district logos.)
     

  • Print and mail district newsletters. Provide stationery, customized print-outs, mailing labels and report forms for clubs and districts.
     

  • Group liability insurance and group crime insurance. Advice on club financing and IRS requirements. Coverage under group tax exemption.
     

  • CAP Center development.
     

  • National advocacy efforts affecting policy and funding issues for the child abuse prevention field.
