West St. Tammany Exchange Club works to raise awareness of child abuse

The West St. Tammany Exchange Club established pinwheel gardens in Covington and Mandeville as part of Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.

The pinwheel is the national symbol for the great childhoods all children deserve. With support from 50 business sponsors, more than 1,000 pinwheels have been “planted” in St. Tammany Parish.

For emotional support, information on child development and resources for child abuse victims, people can call (800) CHILDREN. Source.
