The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber has plenty of work on its agenda.
Outgoing Board Chair Judd Graham said the organization is committed to addressing the region’s workforce shortage, and new Board Chair Steve Swiontek said his goal is to “promote a stronger metro area” while pushing for the Fargo-Moorhead flood diversion project, advocating on issues important to local businesses and ramping up calls for a new convention center.
But a Chamber event on Tuesday, Sept. 19, kept the focus on the past—both the past fiscal year that ended Aug. 30 and the group’s own past figures who helped it become the 2,100-member organization that it is today.
More than 500 people attended the Chamber’s sold-out seventh annual meeting at Fargo’s Holiday Inn to hear about past successes, meet the next fiscal year’s leadership and celebrate Bernie Dardis as he was presented its prestigious 2017 Legacy Leader Award. Read more.
