New Opportunity Benefits Donors         and the NEC Foundation

The National Exchange Club Foundation recently announced a new Gift Annuities Program, which has been designed to benefit both donors and the NEC Foundation.

A gift annuity is a contractual agreement whereby the donor makes one significant gift, which then allows the donor to receive a fixed and guaranteed income stream for life. The NEC Foundation then benefits through immediate cash gifts.

For additional information about this donor program, or any other opportunity, please contact the NEC Foundation at 800-924-2643 or development@nationalexchangeclub.org

Programs of Service Ideas

Exchange clubs across the country have been busy all summer long, making their communities better places to live. Here are a few ideas to help keep that momentum going:.

September is National Baby Safety Month. To participate, clubs could:

  • Plan a car seat inspection with local law enforcement or welfare offices
  • Hold a community-wide baby shower and donate all items to a local women's shelter, CAP center, or other worthy cause(s)
  • Donate "Crying Code" and/or "Fetal Alcohol Syndrome" brochures to local gynecologist offices, hospitals, day cares or similar community service office(s)

October is Crime and Fire Prevention Month. Club and members may consider:

  • Honoring local law enforcement or fire fighters
  • Partnering with local law enforcement to sponsor an identity theft or anti-bullying seminar
  • Planning a National Day of Service project to be held on October  26th, the 4th Saturday of the month

For additional information regarding service projects, please visit Exchange's website.
