2013 - 2014 administrative year!

Executive Vice President, Tracey Edwards; Director of Club and Member Development and Events, Jim Addis; and Territory Manager, Ted Lindsley, raise state flags at The National Exchange Club Headquarters in celebration of new Exchange Clubs in Arizona (above) and Florida (below).

The 2nd new club of the year is The Exchange Club of Chandler, AZ, which chartered on August 30, with 28 members.

The 3rd  new club of the year is The Exchange Excel Club of Shorecrest High School, FL, which chartered on September 19, with 49 members.

The 4th new club of the year is The Burg Exchange Club of St. Petersburg, FL, which chartered on September 19, with 24 members.

Congratulations to club builder Owen Fabert for his effort in chartering the Chandler, AZ, club, and Kathy Mize, Mark Dayton and Diane Cohrs for their hard work establishing the Florida clubs!

NEC Foundation - Ocean Campaign

The National Exchange Club Foundation is proud to sponsor The Ocean Campaign, derived from the notion that every drop of rain adds to the size of the ocean.

Although simple, the campaign is significant! Each club is asked to pass around a campaign bucket at each meeting, asking members to add their spare change. For the NEC Foundation, each donation generously contributed - regardless of size - makes an impact.

If your club supported The Ocean Campaign last year, we thank you!

For information about participating in this year's campaign, please contact the NEC Foundation at 800-924-2643 or development@nationalexchageclub.org.

Programs of Service Ideas

As we enter the fall season, new opportunities for Exchange Clubs and members  to better their communities are upon us. Here are a few suggestions to help generate project ideas for this wonderful time of year:

October is Crime and Fire Prevention Month. Club and members may consider:

  • Honoring local law enforcement or fire fighters
  • Partnering with local law enforcement to sponsor an identity theft or anti-bullying seminar
  • Planning a National Day of Service project to be held on October  26th, the 4th Saturday of the month

November is One Nation Under God Month. To participate, clubs could:

  • Volunteer at a local homeless shelter or church where Thanksgiving dinners are being served

  • Plan Thanksgiving dinner for a local family, or families, in need

Please remember to share pictures of your club at work with National Headquarters via commun@nationalexchangeclub.org
