There may be further nominations from the floor for positions on both the NEC and NEC Foundation boards. Candidates running from the floor must conform to the guidelines set forth in Article XIII (Nomination and Election of Officers and Directors), Sections 3 and 4, of the NEC National Bylaws; or, Article V (Board of Trustees), Section 1, paragraph (i), of the NEC Foundation’s Code of Regulations. A candidate desiring to be nominated from the floor must complete the official form obtained from the Convention Registration Desk in New Orleans, and submit his or her completed form to the Executive Vice President prior to 9:00 p.m. on the first day of the convention. All candidates must be endorsed in writing by at least three delegates from three different clubs within the person’s region, other than the candidate’s own club.
