The air temperature is not the only thing that’s hot in Florida these days! The city of St. Petersburg, FL, welcomed two new Exchange Clubs September 19!
We are excited to announce the 3rd and 4th new clubs of the 2013/14 administrative year. Please join us in welcoming the Exchange Excel Club of Shorecrest High School and the Burg Exchange Club of St. Petersburg, FL. Thanks and appreciation goes out to the club builders Kathy Mize, Mark Dayton and Diane Cohrs for their effort in chartering the new clubs. The new club is sponsored by the Northeast Exchange Club of St. Petersburg, FL.
Both clubs officially chartered on September 19, 2013, with 49 and 24 members respectively. Past National President W. James Brown conducted the permanent organizational meeting for both clubs, and newly-elected Region 9 Vice President Joyce Franklin was also in attendance. The new club is part of the Florida District (District President Kathy Plummer) and Region 9 (Regional Vice President Joyce Franklin).
“Seventy-three new members in one day – not too bad for a day’s work!” said Mr. Brown.
To all the new members … WELCOME!!!
