The 9th annual Vernon Summer Days Carnival took place from July 26 to 29, and attracted crowds for all four nights.
New this year was the Echo Wheel, a larger Ferris Wheel with a larger capacity per car, which also had the longest lines for most of the carnival’s run.
Children and families enjoyed all of the other rides and several carnival games, as well as the food offerings, including the Rockville Exchange Club Fried Dough Truck and Nana’s Ice Cream.
The carnival benefits charitable programs, such as KIDSAFE and Vernon Parks and Recreation summer campers.
Sponsors include the Rockville Exchange Club, the Maple Grove Club, and Vernon Parks and Recreation. Source.
