Long may she wave; honoring Flag Day

The huge flag, which is 30-feet tall by 42-feet wide and weighs 73 pounds, was presented to the city by the Americanism committee of the Rome Exchange Club on Flag Day, June 14, 2014, and flown for the first time on the 200th anniversary of the national anthem on Sept. 14, 2014.
