Midland community organizations come together to help homeless family

A mid-Michigan woman who is homeless and a victim of domestic violence will soon have a new house thanks to several community organizations.

Tyesha Ahmad serves in the U.S. Army Reserves and lived in her car with her three young kids for more than two months.

She asked Habitat for Humanity for help and the Midland Noon Exchange Club donated a $10,000 check, a gesture Tyesha is extremely grateful for. Read more.
